The Professional Independence Academy was an idea... a conviction that professionals deserved more than hoping their employer would keep them around. That we could build careers that thrive regardless of what any single company decides.
Today, I'm writing to so many of you. How did we get here?

The Truth About This Year
2025 tested every professional's sense of security. Layoffs continued. AI reshuffled entire industries. The rules kept changing.
But here's what I noticed in our community: instead of panicking, you adapted. You asked better questions. You built your professional authority. You stopped waiting for permission to own your career.
That's not luck. That's professional independence in action.
And while you were building your independence, we at The Professional Independence Academy were learning too. Every question you asked, every challenge you shared, every win you celebrated... it shaped how we teach, what we build, and where we're headed.
We don't have all the answers. But we're committed to finding them alongside you.
